To avoid such a bleak future, it is essential to depoliticize educational institutions. Appointments of vice-chancellors and principals should be based on transparent selection processes led by academic peers, independent education committees, and industry experts. Safeguards must be put in place to ensure that academic institutions remain centers of knowledge, inquiry, and progress rather than tools of political manipulation.

A nation that allows its education system to be dictated by politics ultimately sacrifices its future. True progress can only be achieved when academic excellence is upheld, intellectual freedom is protected, and institutions operate free from political influence. Education must serve society, not political interests, and the integrity of academic leadership is crucial in shaping the destiny of any nation.
